About Us

Dr.Jean-Guy Violette

Dr. Violette earned his bachelor's of science and diploma in health sciences before completing his DDS at Montreal University in 1984. He earned a master of science in dental sciences, and certificate of orthodontics for craniofacial dysfunction from Donau University in Krems, Austria. At TUFTS University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, he earned a second master of science in oral health science and certificate in temporomandibular disorders and orofacial pain. A lifelong learner, Dr. Violoette has also accrued extensive education from such institutions as LD Pankey Institute, Misch Implant Institute, Mercer Global, and others.

Dr. Violette has conducted many research projects and was awarded diplomate status from ICOI, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He holds membership in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Canadian Dental Association, American Association of Functional Orthodontics, The International College of Cranio-Mandibular Orthopedics, and American Academy of Cranofacial Pain.

Dre Chantal Sivret

Originally from St-Isidore, New Brunswick, Dre Sivret joined our team in June 2005. She earned her diploma in health sciences at Universite de Moncton campus of Shippagan in 1999. She continued her education, receiving a bachelor's degree in biology in 2001 then began her study of dentistry at Universite Laval, Quebec. She graduated in 2005 and earned postgraduate certification in comprehensive orthodontics.

With a growing passion for dentistry, Dre Sivret looks forward to the practical and technological challenges ahead. She shares our practice vision of exceptional dental treatment and is dedicated to her associate status alongside Dr. Violette. She holds professional membership in the New Brunswick Dental Society and the Canadian Dental Association.

Dr. Rachel Mills

Originally from Stephenville, Newfoundland, Dr. Mills began her higher education schooling at Acadia University, where she earned a bachelor of science with honours in chemistry. Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Mills enrolled at the University of Toronto, later graduating with her DDS in 2009.

Dr. Mills seeks to provide compassionate care using modern dental techniques and technology. As a dedicated practitioner in the dental profession, she is a member of the Canadian Dental Association, New Brunswick Dental Society, and the Fredericton Dental Society.

Rita, Receptionist

Being people oriented, she has been drawn to different fields in which people skills, communication, and high customer service standards are valued. Having initially trained as a hairstylist and worked in Montreal, Rita progressed from a dental receptionist/assistant to an assistant store manager, business owner and manager, substitute teacher, and currently her position is receptionist at our dental practice. Rita takes pride in work well done and has high standards for herself.

Rita and her family have had the opportunity to live in Montreal, Ottawa, Halifax, Saint John, and Fredericton. She enjoys our dynamic work environment.

France, Hygiene Coordinator

France studied as a bilingual stenographer before choosing a career in dentistry. She keeps our hygienist schedule running efficiently and has been an asset to our team for 12 years. Working with our team is like working with family, according to France. She appreciates the close relationships we develop with our long-term patients. When she isn't working, France enjoys playing volleyball and cheering on her teenagers in soccer and football with her husband.

Trudy, Case Coordinator

Trudy earned her dental administrative assistant diploma from Atlantic Business College. Our fast-paced office keeps her busy with important responsibilities. She enjoys our friendly team and interacting with patients on a daily basis. At home, Trudy and her husband are parents to three children, which keeps her very busy after hours!

Krista, Receptionist

Krista graduated from the Dental Assisting Academy of New Brunswick in 2002, and has been honing her skills as a chairside assistant ever since. She holds membership in the New Brunswick Dental Assistants Association and the Canadian Dental Assistants Association. Krista loves learning, and is continually on the lookout to gain new skills and information about dental health that would benefit patients. Away from the practice, Krista values quality time with her friends and family, as well as any outdoor activity.

Irene, Receptionist

Irene functions as a vital member of our front office staff, helping the practice run smoothly with the skill and understanding that comes from many years of dedication to her field. When Irene joined our office in 2009, she had 27 years of experience to benefit our team and those we serve. She values the respect and camaraderie that exists among our staff members and the importance they place on the entire patient care experience. When she’s not assisting patients at our office, Irene loves spending time with her husband, children, and an adorable granddaughter.

Mary, Bookkeeper

Mary enjoys working in our modern office and considers our team members excellent in their jobs. She adds to the cheerful atmosphere in our office while making sure that the business side of the practice runs efficiently. After hours, Mary volunteers with the emergency measures plan in her village and she is a volunteer bookkeeper for a non-profit organization. She and her husband, Tim, have a daughter and a son. Both children are grown and married. Mary's daughter has triplet boys and one girl, and her son lives in New Zealand. After work, Mary likes to spend time with her bustling grandsons, her only granddaughter and watching movies, scrap booking, or shopping.

Jennifer has been with us for nine years. She earned her registered dental hygienist certification from Dalhousie University in 1998. Jennifer particularly enjoys helping people, meeting new patients, and becoming friends with her regular patients.

Josiane, Dental Hygienist

Josiane earned her diploma in dental hygiene fourteen years ago, and she has worked with us for 10 years. She won the Golden Scaler Award for best clinical performance in school, and she is a member of the Canadian Dental Hygienist Association, as well as the New Brunswick Dental Hygienists Association.

Josianne, Dental Hygienist

For five years, since graduating from College Edward-Montpetit, Josianne has worked as our dental hygienist. She enjoys training patients how to care for their teeth and gums at home, as well as helping them maintain optimal gum health through regular cleanings and periodontal maintenance.

Jenifer, Dental Hygienist

Jenifer earned her degree in dental hygiene from La Cite Collegiale in Ottawa, and joined our office soon after. She is passionate about providing patients with healthy smiles and imparting the knowledge they need to keep those teeth and gums clean at home. A team player and a people person, Jenifer appreciates that our entire staff strives to serve patients best by also serving each other.

Melissa, Orthodontic Assistant

Melissa attended Holland College's assisting program and University of Alberta's orthodontic module. She holds a membership with the New Brunswick Dental Assistants Association and enjoys helping our patients achieve the smiles they want. Melissa enjoys learning and the busy schedule she maintains with our practice. To keep fit, she likes working out, volleyball, and softball. She also takes time for her boyfriend and three nephews, and occasionally she relaxes with a good novel.

Corrine, Dental Assistant, Level II

Corrine earned her dental assisting certification at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, then continued her education at Nova Scotia Community College, where she earned her level two certification. She holds membership in the New Brunswick Dental Assisting Association. Corrine enjoys all aspects of the dental profession, especially our patients and our team. A native to Fredericton, Corrine is married and has one son. She enjoys horseback riding and skiing when she's not improving smiles.

Amber, Dental Assistant, Level II & Implant Coordinator

Amber studied at Nova Scotia Community College, Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, and St. Thomas University. She holds membership in the New Brunswick Dental Assistant Association and the New Brunswick Dental Society. Amber appreciates our dedicated staff and the broad spectrum of dental services we offer. She counts our patients as family and enjoys giving them a reason to smile. Away from the office, Amber scrap books, gardens, and creates crafts. She and her husband are expecting their first child soon.

Since graduating from Dental Assisting Academy of New Brunswick and completing the orthodontics module at Holland College, Holly has worked as a level two dental assistant for six years. She is very organized and always prioritizes caring for our patients. Holly is mother to an adorable little girl who keeps her very busy.

Eliza received her education at Oulton College in Moncton, New Brunswick and came to us in 2009. A contributer to the positive, fun environment we’ve created at our practice, Eliza says she looks forward to work every morning when she wakes up. Building relationships with the patients she serves is her favorite part of working in the dental field. In her free time, Eliza enjoys travelling and sharing new experiences with friends and family.

Lisa attended the New Brunswick Dental Assisting Academy, and pursued further education by completing an Orthodontic Module through Holland College. After graduation, she spent seven years gaining experience as a dental assistant before joining our office in 2009. Lisa is a member of the New Brunswick Dental Assistants Association and the New Brunswick Dental Society. When she is not assisting our dentists at the practice, Lisa enjoys reading and spending time with David and their two children, Leslie and Duncan.

Mark, Lab Assistant

As our lab assistant, Mark enjoys working with our great team. He finds that the diversity and a constant opportunity to learn new information make his job different each day. Away from the office, Mark enjoys running, traveling, photography, and biking.
